Part 1. Brief Introduction to ABC

Founded in 1903, Anhui Business College, or ABC is a publicly-funded full-time vocational college under the direct leadership of Anhui Provincial Department of Education. It is located in Wuhu, a national open city along the Yangtze River and close to Shanghai and Nanjing. In 2019, ABC is listed under Double High-level Project of China. It boasts a lot of other titles: Top 200 Vocational Colleges in China, National Flagship Vocational Colleges of Higher Education, Top 50 National Higher Education Institutions for Employment Work, Top 50 National Higher Education Institutions for Practice Management, Pilot Unit of Modern Apprenticeship, Pilot Unit of “1+X” Certificate, etc.

ABC has over 500 full-time teachers and nearly 12,000 students. Over 90% percent of its faculties are double-qualified teachers. ABC now is composed of 9 teaching departments and 40 majors. Presently, ABC possesses a batch of high quality education resources including national-level key developing majors, national-level teaching repository, national-level production-oriented training and teaching base, national-level faculty training center and 255 training bases with advanced equipment and complete supporting facilities. In recent years, students from ABC has won 19 first prizes in the National Vocational Students Skills Competition. The graduate employment rate stays above 98%.

To enhance its international exposure, ABC works in partnership with universities in Britain, America, Thailand, Malaysia, North Korean and Japan to carry out faculty and student exchange program. In response to the BRI initiative, ABC pays more attention to the cooperation with BRI countries in recent years. For now, ABC has established its “Chinese Language and Culture Center” in Thailand and is projected to carry out 2 rounds of “Short-term Cultural Exchange Program for Foreign Students in China” every year and hold the people-to-people exchange forum or vocational education forum regularly.

Part 2. Three-year Diploma Program

Part 3. Eligibility and Requirements

1.Applicants must be non-Chinese citizens with a valid foreign passport and good health condition under the age of 25;

2.Educational background:

Applicants must have senior high school diploma or the 2nd stage of education diploma；

3.Language requirements:

Applicants must have an HSK4(or higher level) certificate. If not, students can attend the Chinese training program provided by ABC and then attend the HSK test or the test organized by ABC. Students cannot be formally registered until they achieve an HSK4 certificate. The students should bear all the expenses during the Chinese training program.

Part 4. Application Documents

Remarks: Applicants must email all the scanning copy of above documents to limingjun@abc.edu.cn before 6 p.m. July 31st,2020. All documents should be filled or manifested in Chinese or English. Applicants must bring the original forms of the above documents when registering at ABC in September.

Part 5. Procedures

ABC organizes an interview for all the eligible applicants and determine the final admission list according to the application documents and interview scores.

After admitted, applicants will receive the admission offer and the visa application form(JW202) in both Chinese and English version. Applicants should go to the local Chinese Embassy with these forms for the visa applications.

New students should bring the admission offer, JW202 as well as the original application documents. The campus enrollment process lasts for one week. ABC will organize the Health Examination after the enrollment. Only those who pass the Health Examination can be formally registered.

Part 6.Fees

Remarks:

1.Applicants should pay RMB 2,559 previously to ABC (to pay for textbooks, insurance, health examination, and residence permit).

2.Airport shuttle: ABC will cover the students’ first arrival pick-up, which requires students to make an appointment in advance.（airport code: HFE or NKG ONLY）

3.Students shall bear all the life expenses including meals, water and electricity consumption.

Part 7. Scholarship

Remarks:

1. The highest ratio of full-scholarship recipients does not exceed 2/3 of the applicants.

2. The highest ratio of half-scholarship recipients does not exceed 1/3 of the applicants.

Part 8. Facilities on and off Campus

ABC offers a newly renovated and furnished residence hall for international students with an air-conditioner, a private bathroom and WIFI in each room. Public devices like kitchen, and laundry are also available. With an easy access to the playground and gym, students can play basketball, football, tennis, badminton on campus.

Students can find most life services in a service zone designed for them on campus, including canteen, supermarket, barbershop, etc. With a convenient transportation, students can easily get to shopping malls like Desheng Plaza, Central Caifu Street and Yintai Shopping Mall where they can enjoy shopping, eating and entertaining.

Part 9. Further study

ABC will recommend excellent graduates to study for a degree-program in first-class universities.
